One Message Remains is a collection from Premee Mohamed containing three new stories and a reprint.

In the novella that gives this collection its name, “One Message Remains” follows Major Lyell Tzajos as he exhumes the bones and souls of dead foes for repatriation.

In the first of two brand-new novelettes, “The Weight of What Is Hollow” is a story about building bone-gallows for prisoners of war.

“In Forsaking All Others,” the second novelette, an ex-soldier flees from the consequences of desertion.

The novelette that started it all, “The General’s Turn” (first published in The Deadlands) is reprinted in this collection.
