Some Assembly Required

LUFTSLOTT Castle in the Air

1. Assemble all materials.

Figure 1: A small three-fingered personage with pointy upturned nose holds an instruction sheet. Beside are arrayed icons representing the necessary materials: - screwdriver - scissors - ball of string - brick (x2) A - dome of stars B – winged spiral drop C – shallow bowl D – fragment of architecture with cloudy base, arched windows, and suggestion of crenelations E – cloud F – sun with resplendent rays G – spreading flourish

2. Place one or more inspirations (A) in base position to provide foundation.

Important: Be sure all inspirations are securely tethered before proceeding with assembly.

Figure 2: Using the ball of string, the personage attaches bricks to the edges of the dome of stars (labelled A).

3. Insert musings (B) into pre-drilled holes in inspirations, making sure to raise musings in a vertical position.

Caution: Do not measure carefully.

Figure 3: Winged spiral drops (labelled B) are inserted around the edges of the dome of stars. In an inset, the personage frowns over a measuring tape, with an X across the image.

4. Use memories (C) to connect fantasies (D) to corresponding musings.

Note: Fantasies are modular and flexible, and multiple sets may be combined to create larger structures.

Figure 4: Varied architectural fragments (labelled D) are placed with their cloudy bases in shallow bowls (labelled C), which are balanced atop winged spiral drops (labelled B), which are inserted around the edges of the dome of stars, which in turn is anchored to bricks.

5. Important: Spend time with dreams (E) to ensure that hopes (F) align properly with castle walls.

Caution: Some dreams may not fasten securely in this item.  If dreams turn out to be nightmares, disconnect immediately before hopes become distorted.

Figure 5: Adding further to the previous Figure, rayed suns (labelled F) shine out from the top of the architectural fragments. On the ground below, the personage leans back on a cloud, relaxing with their hands behind their head, while another cloud (labelled E) floats above. An inset emphasized with an exclamation mark shows lightning shooting from a dark cloud, with an X across the image.

6. Roofing is optional. Attach domes and parapets as desired for shelter, or leave castle open at top for unobstructed upward view.

It is recommended that an assortment of supplemental materials be stored in castle to allow for any desired modifications or refinements during use.  When correctly assembled, LUFTSLOTT is infinitely adaptable.

Figure 6: To the previous construction are added two small domes of stars as roofs, indicated by a pointing finger for emphasis. There is also an arched double door in the middle.

7. Untether castle and allow imagination (G) to lift assembled structure into the air to desired altitude.

Note: If castle is slow to rise, some additional application of hopes and dreams may facilitate buoyancy of imagination.

Figure 7: The complete construction is shown now elevated on a large cloud (labelled E and indicated with a pointing finger). Beneath it stands the personage, using scissors to cut the strings that held the bricks to the base. A spreading flourish (labelled G) rises between the being’s forehead and the cloud.

WARNING: LUFTSLOTT may not bear the weight of additional inhabitants.  Invite visitors with caution, being mindful that those equipped with compatible and harmonious materials will be most conducive to a well-balanced castle in the air.  With these cautions in mind, share generously.

Figure 8 (Marked with an exclamation point in a warning triangle): The personage stands in their open doorway in the middle of their completed LUFTSLOTT. A flight of stairs leads down to the edge of the dome of stars, from which a ladder dangles further. At the bottom of the ladder stands a similar being, this one with different ears and hat, offering a bouquet composed of a spreading flourish and rayed sun. The beings smile at each other.
