Hello friends.
This is Sean Markey, publisher of The Deadlands (and other) here with a quick heads up:
The Deadlands is going on hiatus for a bit.
Elise Tobler, the heart and bones and the engine behind this little deathy magazine, is very ill.
If you don’t know, for several months now she has been going through a very rough round of chemo (she talked about it here on BSKY) and was recently hospitalized with septic shock from complications where they removed the cancer from her leg. She expects to be in the hospital at least another month.

I talked it over with Elise, and we decided the best thing for her, and for the The Deadlands, was to pause things and give her time to recover.
So we will not see you on October 19th, for issue #44.
We are tentatively planning to see you in January for issue #44, but that could change, depending on how recovery goes.
Starting today we are going to pause our Patreon. We hope you’ll stick around for when we’re ready to go again.
If you are owed an issue of The Deadlands you will still get that. We are working through things slowly (bit of a backlog, I was very briefly hospitalized in August and so we are running behind all over).
If you bought something from our store recently that will ALSO make it’s way to you, sorry for being late.
